New Bill Aims to Allow Crypto Payments in Russia

A draft laws aiming to defend the rights of homeowners of cryptocurrencies, whereas regulating their use for funds, has been launched in Russia’s parliament. The bill defines phrases like “digital money” and “digital rights”. It moreover permits authorities to subject cryptos to taxation, inheritance rights, and chapter claims.

“Digital Money” to Be Approved Strategy of Value

The laws amends Russia’s Civil Code to create a basis for “licensed relations in the digital monetary system”. The draft is co-sponsored by the Speaker of State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and the head of the parliamentary Legal guidelines Committee, Pavel Krasheninnikov. Their initiative efficiently legalizes financial transactions in the digital environment.
